Main features of electronic invoicing in France
France’s e-invoicing system involves four stakeholders: the supplier, the customer, the technology providers and the government.
Technology partners are responsible for distributing the electronic invoice to the B2B customer and reporting to the government.
The current B2G billing platform, Chorus Pro, will evolve into a public B2B billing platform (PPF in French).
The French system, called the “Y-model”, is designed to combat tax fraud and improve and ensure timely payments.
