Voxel Caribe appeared in the radio news last Tuesday, May 7th. Vice president of Voxel Caribe, Gina Lovatón and former member of the government Tax Authority, the Dirección General de Impuestos Internos (DGII), were interviewed in the radio program ‘Argentarium’ of La Nota from the Dominican Republic. Lovatón spoke about the importance of electronic invoicing regarding automatisation and procedures optimisation for companies.
Lovatón talked about the trajectory of Voxel Caribe in the Dominican Republic, as well as baVel Caribe’s services, the group’s transactions platform.
Electronic Invoicing in the Dominican Republic
The government Tax Authority, the Dirección General de Impuestos Internos, is developing a pilot with large companies to introduce the electronic invoicing in the country. The purpose of it is to implement the usage of tax documents (called e-CF) in order to reduce the country’s percentage of tax evasion.
However, Voxel Caribe, subsidiary of Voxel Group for the Caribbean and Latin American markets, has worked for more than 6 years in the country for the electronic invoicing sector. At the moment, Voxel Caribe works with more than 300 Dominican leader companies in the Retail sector and it has signed an agreement with Visa to offer electronic payments between companies. Via baVel Caribe, Voxel Caribe offers technological solutions in electronic invoicing to suppliers. Its purpose is to streamline and simplify administratives procedures when receiving invoices.
