Your day-to-day
As a DevOps Engineer you will:
- Leverage technical expertise to support our cloud migration and the definition of the new cloud infrastructure helping the scalability of our platform.Â
- Constantly exercise critical thinking and use your analytical skills.Â
- Troubleshoot, debug and implement effective solutions favoring simplicity and maintenance over time.
- Improve code readability and performance through continuous refactoring and optimization.Â
- Demonstrates a proactive, collaborative and problem-solving attitude towards challenges.Â
- Give and receive feedback in an Agile environment looking for team collaboration, caring and promoting about the psychological safety of the whole team.
What are we looking for?
About the ideal candidate – To succeed in role, we’d like you to have relevant experience in the following areas:Â
- XP methodology, Lean/Agile, refactoring, CI/CD, networking, containerization and observability.Â
- Knowledge of these technology related concepts will be valued but it’s not mandatory: Azure, Terraform, Ansiable, Docker, Kubernetes, Nutanix, Zabbix, Linux & Windows.Â
- Understanding of available architectural components from the cloud provider and their use cases.Â
- Be comfortable working with complex high availability & high throughput environments.Â
- Capability to efficiently communicate in written and oral English.Â
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset in a continuous improvement environment.Â
